Park seung-soo is looking to make up for lost time at Newcastle United this season…

Newcastle United winger Seung-soo is aiming to break into manager Matthias Jaissle's first-team plans after returning to form with the under-21 squad. The 19-year-old previously impressed former manager Eddie Howe and featured in senior matchday squads against Aston Villa, but injuries and an Asian Games call-up with South Korea stalled his recent momentum.
After scoring in the under-21s' 3-2 victory against Sunderland, Seung-soo started in a 2-0 Premier League Cup win over Peterborough United. Under-21 coach Robbie Stockdale praised the winger's quality and challenged him to establish consistency to earn a senior recall.
