Matthias Jaissle claims he is “not worried” by Newcastle United’s flatlining form and is reluctant to make wholesale changes because he needs to rebuild the belief of the players currently in the first team…
Newcastle United head coach Matthias Jaissle insisted he is not worried despite his team suffering four defeats in their last five matches across all competitions. Following a 1-0 loss to Everton on Monday, which came just days after an identical Carabao Cup defeat to the same opponent, Newcastle sit just four points above the Premier League relegation zone ahead of their upcoming match against Fulham.
Jaissle stated that he is reluctant to make wholesale lineup changes because he wants to restore confidence and belief within his current squad. Despite calls for tactical shifts and the inclusion of midfielder Sean Steur, the manager emphasized unity and finding the right balance before making alterations.
