Former England goalkeeper Joe Hart has revealed what would have been going through the Magpies shot-stopper's mind…

Former England goalkeeper Joe Hart stated that Newcastle United goalkeeper Lukas Hornicek had no choice but to simply park his mistake after a decisive error in a 1-0 defeat against Everton. Hornicek spilled Tyrique George's shot, which allowed Thierno Barry to tap in the winning goal. Hart praised the 24-year-old shot-stopper for avoiding reckless attempts to compensate for the blunder, noting he kept the score at 1-0 with several good saves.
The defeat marked Hornicek's second major error since joining from Braga in the summer, following a penalty conceded against Coventry. Frustrations boiled over for Newcastle late in the match, culminating in Jacob Ramsey receiving two yellow cards and being sent off as Everton effectively defended their narrow away lead.
