Newcastle youngster Lewis Miley has pulled out of the England Under-21 squad that takes on Slovakia and the Republic of Ireland

Newcastle United midfielder Lewis Miley has left the England Under-21 squad and returned to his club following a knock suffered in training. The Football Association confirmed his departure via an official statement ahead of England's upcoming fixtures against Slovakia in Stoke and the Republic of Ireland in Cork.
Miley's injury is reportedly not serious, following an agreement reached between Newcastle and the FA. The versatile midfielder is expected to return to club training next week and remains in contention to feature against Coventry City on October 12 under manager Matthias Jaissle.
