Matthias Jaissle has delivered a mixed bag of results for the Newcastle boss - but he feels it will take more time to get things right…

Newcastle United head coach Matthias Jaissle stated that he requires time and a couple of transfer windows to successfully shape his squad. Facing pressure ahead of a Premier League match against Fulham, Jaissle indicated he will not abandon his preferred 4-2-3-1 formation despite recent poor form and back-to-back defeats against Everton.
Jaissle noted that he plans to make squad adjustments during the upcoming January transfer window alongside transfer chief Tomas Amaral. Newcastle previously underwent major squad changes, selling Anthony Gordon, Bruno Guimaraes, and Sandro Tonali, while investing heavily in young players such as Sean Steur, Aladji Bamba, and Bazoumana Toure.
