Chronicle Live can reveal the story behind the new logos dotted around St James' Park

Newcastle United have started removing old crests and updating signage across St James' Park, the media centre, and training grounds following their crest redesign. The new logos spotted on Barrack Road are updated venue marks celebrating the ground's cantilevered glass roof.
The visual refresh accompanies Newcastle's new club crest, which will feature on playing kits for the 2027/28 season. Other changes include new media centre branding and lamp post banners featuring players Malick Thiaw and Harvey Barnes.
