Premier League managers were questioned on Thursday regarding an independent commission finding Manchester City guilty of 114 breaches of Premier League rules. Asked about the situation ahead of facing Coventry City on Monday, United manager Matthias Jaissle stated it is not his job to judge another club and urged focusing strictly on pitch performance and what the team can directly influence.
Other managers also addressed the verdicts during their pre-match press conferences. Coventry City boss Frank Lampard pointed to the ongoing appeal, Leeds manager Daniel Farke noted he was not involved in those title races, and Bournemouth manager Marco Rose described himself as a coach rather than a politician.
