Sean Steur's Newcastle career has started well with Chris Waddle believing he has already enhanced the £23m fee United paid Ajax last summer

Former England international Chris Waddle believes Newcastle United midfielder Sean Steur has already added £20 million to his transfer value after an impressive start to the season. The Magpies signed the Dutch teenager from Ajax for a £23 million fee during the summer transfer window as part of their strategy to recruit young talent across Europe.
Steur was recently benched by manager Matthias Jaissle in favor of Nico Gonzalez, but Waddle expects the youngster to bounce back despite natural dips in form. Waddle praised Steur's quick adaptation to life in the North East, noting his strong performances, including a standout display against Hull City.
