The Story in 60 Seconds

Nottingham Forest's proposed transfer for Corinthians midfielder André Luiz has completely collapsed and will not happen in January, according to the player's agent Diogo Silva. Silva confirmed during a TransferRoom event that owner Evangelos Marinakis and Forest decided to walk away from the move after opting to sign Gustavo Puerta instead.

Forest had previously submitted a €12m (£10.4m) bid in August for the 20-year-old midfielder, which was rejected by Corinthians.
