Régis Le Bris on his conversation with Kyril Louis-Dreyfus and Sunderland message ahead of Chelsea clash

Sunderland manager Régis Le Bris confirmed he retains the full support of owner Kyril Louis-Dreyfus following a Friday morning meeting ahead of their clash against Chelsea. Sunderland sit at the bottom of the Premier League table after a defeat to Coventry City and are coming off a 2-0 Europa League loss to Dinamo Zagreb. Le Bris stated that the club hierarchy remains completely aligned despite recent frustrations over poor results.

Le Bris also revealed he conducted a difficult squad debrief to address defensive vulnerabilities, noting that the team is conceding too many goals. Despite the pressure, he emphasized the importance of staying united and maintaining positive energy as Sunderland prepare to host Chelsea at the Stadium of Light.
