Chelsea fans have been left stunned by the absence of Joao Pedro from the squad to face Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

Chelsea supporters expressed shock after forward Joao Pedro was omitted from the matchday squad to face Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League. Manager Xabi Alonso selected 19-year-old Portuguese forward Geovany Quenda to start in Pedro's place, with the reason for Pedro's absence not immediately known.
Pedro had recently scored twice against Bournemouth and featured prominently in a 2-0 win over Everton. The rest of the outfield lineup remained unchanged, featuring Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers in attack, alongside a back three of Josh Acheampong, Maxence Lacroix, and Levi Colwill.
