Chelsea have been forced into changes for their Premier League clash with Tottenham, with Joao Pedro absent.

Joao Pedro was ruled out of Chelsea's squad for Saturday's clash against Tottenham after suffering a training injury. Manager Xabi Alonso revealed to Sky Sports that the striker felt an issue during Friday's session that resulted in fluid buildup, requiring further assessment. Pedro had been Chelsea's top league scorer with five goals entering the home match.
Alonso handed Geovany Quenda his full Premier League debut as Pedro's replacement in the starting lineup. The only other change saw goalkeeper Mike Penders replace Emi Martinez, who underwent surgery for a fractured jaw. Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi made two changes, starting Mathys Tel and Mateus Fernandes.
