Conor Gallagher is quietly reminding Tottenham fans why Roberto De Zerbi likes him

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Conor Gallagher has scored in back-to-back games under manager Roberto De Zerbi. Spurs originally paid Atlético Madrid £34m to sign Gallagher in January, making the English international one of the highest-paid players at the club despite mixed reception from supporters.

De Zerbi's midfield reshuffle also saw Pape Matar Sarr loaned out to Juventus for the 2026/27 season alongside Guglielmo Vicario. Sarr recently made his third appearance for Juventus during a 2-0 victory over Atalanta.
