Legal expert reveals every club who can claim against Man City, with Tottenham to open ‘floodgates’

Legal expert Daniel Baker states that Tottenham could open the floodgates for rival clubs to seek substantial compensation from Manchester City. Following reports that Manchester City were found guilty of financial breaches regarding inflated sponsorship payments, Baker noted that clubs finishing below them could argue they suffered significant financial harm regarding lost league places and European qualification.

Baker highlighted that compensation claims from clubs like Tottenham could be massive due to lost revenue from European football. Additionally, football finance expert Kieran Maguire suggested Tottenham players also lost considerable bonus income, estimating that missed Champions League incentives could equate to tens of millions of pounds across a squad.
