Mathys Tel shines with a late winner, salvaging ten-man France’s Under-21 Euro hopes despite a dramatic and intense comeback from Luxembourg.

Tottenham forward Mathys Tel scored a late winner to secure a 3-2 victory for ten-man France Under-21s against Luxembourg. After entering the match as a first-half substitute, Tel struck with 14 minutes remaining to clinch qualification for the upcoming Under-21 European Championship. France took an early two-goal lead through a Steve Ngoura brace before Joane Gadou was sent off, allowing Luxembourg to equalize.
The decisive strike confirmed France as the outright winners of qualifying Group C. The goal marked Tel's second during the international window, following a goal against Iceland. With this victory, Tel joins fellow Tottenham teammates Archie Gray and Mateus Fernandes in securing qualification for the upcoming tournament.
