Tottenham among clubs interested in 22-year-old Feyenoord midfielder also wanted by Chelsea

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly among six Premier League clubs monitoring Feyenoord midfielder Gjivai Zechiel ahead of future transfer windows. According to a TEAMtalk report, Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea, and Nottingham Forest are also chasing the permanent signing of the 22-year-old Dutch midfielder following his impressive form in the Eredivisie.

Zechiel returned to Feyenoord this summer and has recorded five goals and four assists in seven league matches under manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst. Spurs manager Roberto De Zerbi is currently navigating an injury-hit midfield, with James Maddison, Mohammed Kudus, and Xavi Simons facing fitness or injury issues during Tottenham's slow start to the 2026/27 campaign.
