Tottenham Hotspur players will have to be very careful to avoid another red card against Coventry City after the Premier League announced which referee will…

Andy Madley has been appointed to referee Tottenham Hotspur's upcoming Premier League match against Coventry City on Monday, October 19. The appointment comes right after Rodrigo Bentancur received a three-match suspension for a red card in a 1-1 draw against Manchester United. Spurs Web highlights that Madley has previously issued two red cards to Tottenham players across 13 matches.
Madley previously sent off Cristian Romero in February 2023 and gave Micky van de Ven a straight red card against Crystal Palace in March. In preparation for the fixture, manager Roberto De Zerbi took the Tottenham squad to Marbella, Spain, for warm-weather training as the club pursues its first league victory of the season.
