Tottenham Hotspur supporters and manager Roberto De Zerbi widely praised defender Tosin Adarabioyo following his first Premier League start against Coventry City. The former Chelsea centre-back impressed in a central back-three role, winning 100% of his ground duels and 88% of his aerial duels during the match. Several fans remarked that his assured defensive display exceeded their initial expectations.
Tosin was substituted late in the game after picking up a minor knock, but De Zerbi confirmed there was no serious injury concern. The 28-year-old defender joined Tottenham for £12 million on deadline day as a replacement for Kevin Danso, who transferred to Sunderland.
