Tottenham plan to monitor Luca Williams-Barnett’s progress by keeping him in and around De Zerbi’s squad after Premier League debut.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Roberto De Zerbi reportedly wants to keep 18-year-old talent Luca Williams-Barnett in the first-team squad rather than sending him on loan in January. According to a report from Football Insider, Spurs are inclined to retain the academy starlet following his impressive senior cameos, with De Zerbi stating that the teenager is ready to start matches.
Williams-Barnett made his Premier League debut as a late substitute in Tottenham's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace, earning a nomination for the Premier League's Creative Moment of the Month award. He also featured off the bench in Tottenham's recent 1-0 defeat to Leeds United, where Noah Okafor scored the winning goal.
