Tottenham Hotspur are set to receive their share of a £27 million (€31.5 million) distribution from UEFA for releasing players during the 2024/25 UEFA Nations League. The payment marks the start of the current Club Benefits Programme cycle, which reimburses teams whose players participate in national team competitions. In total, 611 professional and amateur clubs across UEFA member associations will benefit from the payout.
Clubs receive £3,294 (€3,845) per eligible player appearance on a match sheet for Nations League and European Qualifiers fixtures. RB Leipzig will secure the highest payout from this pot at approximately £302,505 (€353,000) for releasing 16 players. The overall cycle linked to UEFA Euro 2028 will ultimately distribute £209 million (€244 million) to clubs.
