Former Tottenham Hotspur winger Andros Townsend miraculously escaped serious injury after being run over by a heavy pitch roller. The 35-year-old veteran, who currently plays for Thai League club PT Prachuap, was hit from behind during a halftime warm-up drill. Despite the terrifying nature of the collision, Townsend emerged from the incident completely unscathed.
Following the bizarre accident, Townsend was able to continue his matchday duties for PT Prachuap. He came on as a second-half substitute, playing one minute of competitive action to help his side secure a 3-0 victory over Pattani.
