Ghedjemis has disclosed why he turned down a move to Celtic or Rangers despite interest from both clubs.
Frosinone winger Fares Ghedjemis has revealed why he opted against a summer transfer to Scottish Premiership sides Celtic or Rangers. The 24-year-old was targeted by both Glasgow clubs and French side Monaco following a strong campaign in Italy, with Frosinone reportedly rejecting permanent bids of approximately £8 million before convincing the Algeria international to remain.
Ghedjemis explained that discussions regarding the club's ambition to become a major team persuaded him to commit his future by signing a new four-year contract. The winger scored 15 goals last season during Frosinone's promotion to Serie A and confirmed he aims to maximize his impact rather than set a 10-goal limit.
