The Hoops took the lead through Mika Baur but a deadly double from Javi Rodriguez leaves them pointless and facing an uphill task to qualify…

Celtic suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Celta Vigo in the Europa League after conceding two goals in under four minutes. Mika Baur opened the scoring for the hosts following a deflected delivery from Haissem Hassan. However, a quickfire second-half brace from Javi Rodriguez turned the match around to secure three points for the Spanish visitors.
The defeat leaves Martin O'Neill's side pointless after three Europa League matches, having lost four straight European games and five of their last seven in all competitions. Liam Scales struck the crossbar before Rodriguez's equalizer, but Celtic ultimately could not withstand Celta Vigo's second-half resurgence, making knockout stage qualification an uphill struggle.
