Celtic dressing room rally around grieving teammate as European setback put in perspective

Celtic defender Liam Scales affirmed that the squad will fully support teammate Auston Trusty following the death of his father. Trusty missed Celtic's 2-1 Europa League defeat to Celta Vigo on Thursday due to the family bereavement. Scales emphasized that the personal loss is bigger than football and that the dressing room will rally around the USA international whenever he returns.

The comments followed another difficult European outing for Celtic, who took the lead through Mika Baur before falling 2-1 to Celta Vigo. Scales stressed that the squad under Martin O'Neill must reset quickly and turn their focus to domestic duties ahead of their upcoming Scottish Premiership match against Hibernian at Easter Road.
