Celtic have confirmed the exit of one of their promising young players on a loan deal for the season.

Celtic have confirmed that 20-year-old midfielder Francis Turley has completed an out-of-window loan move to Scottish League Two side Dumbarton. Lower-league clubs in Scotland remain eligible to complete loan signings outside the standard window. The Belfast-born player is available immediately ahead of Dumbarton's upcoming league match against Forfar Athletic.
Turley has scored six goals and registered one assist in 13 appearances for Celtic B this season while regularly training with Celtic's first-team squad. Dumbarton manager Frank McKeown praised the Northern Ireland Under-21 international's creativity and expressed his gratitude to Celtic for entrusting the fourth-tier club with Turley's development.
