The Story in 60 Seconds

Celtic Supporters Limited (CSL) has confirmed it was behind the recent conversion of 15,500 Convertible Cumulative Preference Shares into ordinary Celtic shares. Celtic plc initially announced the transaction in a September 23 filing without disclosing the buyer's identity. CSL acquired the shares from an existing shareholder before completing the conversion.

The conversion officially took effect on September 24, with the newly issued shares admitted to trading on AIM on September 29. Unlike preference shares, the converted ordinary shares grant CSL voting rights at Celtic plc general meetings, raising the total ordinary shares in issue to 95,155,231.
