Celtic defender Auston Trusty will miss Sunday's clash against Falkirk after being granted compassionate leave following the death of his father. Manager Martin O'Neill confirmed the American centre-back has been given time away from the squad to travel home and be with his family.
Trusty's absence creates a defensive selection headache for O'Neill as Celtic search for consistency following recent challenging performances. The club emphasized that Trusty is under no pressure to rush back, prioritizing full support for his well-being during this difficult period.
