Dermot Desmond’s ally? There aren’t many Celtic fans who care for Gordon Strachan’s opinions…

Read Celtic writer Eric Knott argues that Celtic supporters place little value on Gordon Strachan's opinions regarding the club. The critique comes after the Daily Record highlighted Strachan's comments regarding manager Martin O'Neill's decision to remain at Celtic, portraying Strachan as an ally of principal shareholder Dermot Desmond with privileged insider perspective.

Knott asserts that Strachan offered no genuine inside knowledge and merely echoed predictable viewpoints aligned with Desmond. Despite recent domestic victories over Motherwell and Hearts, Knott contends that media narratives cannot mask poor European showings against Ferencvaros and Benfica ahead of the upcoming clash with Celta Vigo.
