Dundee United boss Jim Goodwin was impressed with what he saw from his men against Celtic.
Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin expressed pride in his players after securing a 2-2 draw against Celtic at Celtic Park on Wednesday night. After falling behind early, Dundee United scored two quick first-half goals to take the lead before Celtic defender Liam Scales scored a second-half equalizer. Goodwin praised his team for their resilience and reaction against a relentless Celtic side.
Goodwin noted that although there was slight disappointment after leading for so long, he was delighted to continue their strong October form. Meanwhile, Celtic's Liam Scales, who scored both an own goal and an equalizer, lamented a sloppy first-half stretch that cost his side the win.
