Former Scottish referee Steve Conroy claimed that officials missed an infringement during Celtic's 7-1 victory over Hearts. Speaking on The Ref's View podcast, Conroy stated that Hearts took a throw-in far away from where the ball went out before Laurent Mendy's 41st-minute goal.

Celtic had already built a 4-0 lead before Mendy scored Hearts' solitary goal at Celtic Park. Callum Osmand scored twice in the dominant victory for Martin O'Neill's side, which ended 7-1 despite Conroy's frustrations regarding the throw-in decision.
