Vaclav Cerny expressed his disappointment following Besiktas' dramatic 3-2 defeat to Celtic in the Europa League at Celtic Park. The former Rangers loanee admitted his team lost control in the second half after initially leading the match, allowing Celtic to secure their first Europa League win.
Besiktas equalized late in the contest but quickly fell behind again to a decisive winning goal scored by Camilo Duran. Speaking after the final whistle, Cerny noted that Glasgow remains special to him, but acknowledged Celtic's quality in capitalizing on Besiktas' lapses.
