‘I know him…’ Peter Grant explains why Eddie Howe won’t become Celtic manager

Former Celtic player Peter Grant stated on Go Radio that he does not expect Eddie Howe to become the next Celtic manager despite speculation surrounding Martin O'Neill's future. Although Grant noted he would be proud to see his former teammate manage the Scottish club, he believes Howe's focus remains firmly set on managing in the English Premier League.

Grant suggested that Howe could instead be considered for the Manchester United job if manager Michael Carrick is dismissed. Howe became available after leaving Newcastle United, while O'Neill currently remains in charge of Celtic as he considers his future.
