Martin O’Neill AGREES with Callum McGregor over damning Celtic assessment

Martin O'Neill has confirmed he totally agrees with Celtic captain Callum McGregor's critical assessment regarding the team's tactical balance and performance. Following a 2-2 midweek draw against Dundee United, McGregor claimed that Celtic are wasting unnecessary energy in end-to-end games, lacking clear positional profiles, and failing to control matches effectively.

O'Neill noted that squad members such as Callum Osmand and Camilo Duran are still adapting as natural center forwards learning to play alongside each other. Despite criticism from players including Cameron Carter-Vickers, O'Neill insisted Celtic are performing well domestically and will establish optimal positions as the rotation continues.
