Celtic boss Martin O'Neill has been speaking about his midfield issue after another Euopean defeat.

The Celtic Bhoys writer Jamie Kemble argues that manager Martin O'Neill has recognized a recurring tactical problem involving midfielder Callum McGregor in European competition. Following Celtic's Europa League defeat to Celta Vigo, Kemble suggests McGregor sat too deep rather than pressing opponents on the edge of the penalty area, contributing to conceded goals.
Celtic suffered three straight European defeats to open their campaign, leaving them with five games remaining against opponents including Besiktas and Marseille. Following the match, O'Neill stated that the team must look at closing down players on the edge of the penalty box rather than conceding space.
