Celtic manager Martin O'Neill revealed that striker Camilo Duran stayed behind in Glasgow for the birth of his second child but could still feature against Benfica. Duran missed training on Wednesday and did not travel on the team flight to Portugal, but the club worked to arrange separate travel to Lisbon ahead of Thursday night's Europa League fixture.
O'Neill noted that Duran was determined not to miss the birth after missing the arrival of his first child. The 24-year-old forward heads into the clash in strong form, having scored seven goals this season, including one in Sunday's 2-0 victory against Motherwell.
