‘Most productive’ – Celtic star earns rave revues for impressive national team cameo

Celtic defender Auston Trusty earned widespread praise after an impactful performance as a substitute for the United States Men's National Team on Wednesday. Managed by Mauricio Pochettino, the USMNT secured a 4-2 friendly victory against Chile. Trusty was introduced in the 63rd minute and helped solidify the defense while registering an assist for Mathias Albert's late goal.

Several media outlets highlighted Trusty's cameo, with GOAL awarding him an 8/10 rating and Sports Illustrated labeling it one of his most productive attacking shifts with the national team. Sebastian Berhalter, Julian Hall, and Chris Richards also scored in the win. The USMNT next faces Mexico on Saturday before completing their international break against Canada.
