Raskin reveals he was ready to leave Rangers and was gutted to miss out on summer move away from Ibrox

Rangers midfielder Nicolas Raskin has revealed that he was disappointed after missing out on a summer transfer away from Ibrox. Speaking while on international duty with Belgium, the 25-year-old stated he had prepared mentally to depart following late interest from Turkish club Besiktas before the window shut.

Despite the failed move, Raskin has since played an integral role under manager Derek McInnes during Rangers' recent victories over Celtic. Separately, defender Clinton Nsiala completed a permanent transfer from Rangers to UAE Pro League side Sharjah FC for an estimated £300,000 fee.
