A protest against Dermot Desmond last weekend has seen tensions between supporters and the board rocket

Pundits Chris Sutton and Kris Boyd clashed on Sky Sports over ongoing Celtic fan protests against the club hierarchy, following a demonstration targeting majority shareholder Dermot Desmond. When Boyd questioned why Celtic fans believe they deserve a voice compared to other clubs, Sutton defended the supporters by highlighting a severe lack of communication from the board.
Sutton also questioned why manager Martin O'Neill continues to endure the internal turmoil, which includes public tactical criticism from player Cameron Carter-Vickers and a European boycott by the Green Brigade. Sutton argued that Celtic executives like Michael Nicholson should publicly support O'Neill rather than leaving him isolated.
