The former Hibs forward has called time on his playing career to date.

Former Hibernian forward Harry McKirdy has announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 29. The Englishman confirmed the decision on Sunday night after spending time as a free agent following his departure from English League Two side Crawley Town at the end of last season. McKirdy reflected on his 14-year career in full-time football, stating he has no regrets despite ending his playing days earlier than anticipated.
McKirdy began his career at Aston Villa before representing Carlisle United, Port Vale, and Swindon Town, eventually earning a move to Easter Road in 2022. During his time with Hibs, the attacker underwent heart surgery that sidelined him for six months, later spending time at Barrow and Crawley Town before deciding to hang up his boots.
