Boyd has accused Hearts of disrespecting Celtic.
Pundit Kris Boyd criticized Hearts for showing a lack of respect to Celtic following their heavy 7-1 defeat against Martin O'Neill's side. Speaking to Sky Sports, the former Rangers striker described the loss as an annihilation and called Hearts' open tactical setup a wake-up call after Celtic built a 5-1 lead by half-time.
Boyd criticized Hearts manager Wouter Vrancken's team for continuing to go toe-to-toe man for man against a superior side even when heavily trailing. He added that Celtic's fast attacking performance was the closest he had seen to the team's level under Ange Postecoglou.
