Manager addresses recent comments and offers explanation for front-three decisions…

Celtic manager Martin O'Neill has dismissed suggestions of disharmony and negativity within his squad following recent critical comments from captain Callum McGregor and defender Cameron Carter-Vickers. After a 2-2 draw with Dundee United, McGregor had claimed the team's matches had become "a bit basketball" and lacked control. However, O'Neill firmly rejected claims of internal squad friction while agreeing that the team must work to better control games.
O'Neill also explained his attacking selections, particularly regarding Callum Osmand and Camilo Duran playing out wide instead of through the center. While acknowledging both are natural center forwards, O'Neill noted that Osmand cannot easily lead the line alone in a 4-3-3 setup, emphasizing that the squad is still gelling after late-window arrivals.
