The Napoli midfielder will make it a half-century of caps if selected for the Nations League clash against Slovenia

Billy Gilmour is set to earn his 50th cap for Scotland if selected for the upcoming Nations League match against Slovenia at Hampden. The Napoli midfielder expressed his pride in representing his national team and stated that while he has matured, he remains fundamentally the same technical player who made his debut in 2021.
Head coach Sebastien Pocognoli praised Gilmour's performances across his initial three games in charge, highlighting the midfielder's role in linking defense with the attack. Pocognoli also noted that regular international minutes will benefit Gilmour's progression with his club side Napoli.
