Luke Graham on Scotland World Cup taster that fuelled dream after ‘lucky’ Sebastien Pocognoli call

Stoke City defender Luke Graham has targeted winning his first senior cap after being called up to the Scotland squad by manager Sebastien Pocognoli. The 22-year-old was named in the squad for the upcoming Nations League matches, which begin against Slovenia on Saturday.

Graham previously trained with the senior squad under former manager Steve Clarke and was an unused substitute against Curacao before the World Cup finals. He subsequently joined Scotland's training camp in La Manga after receiving personal confirmation of his call-up from Pocognoli.
