NAPOLI have provided a major update on the future of Scott McTominay. The Scotland hero has been a revelation for the Italian outfit ever since joining the club from Manchester United. He helped the club win the Serie A title…

Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna has confirmed that Scott McTominay wants to remain at the club, despite transfer links connecting him with Real Madrid. Speaking ahead of Napoli's Champions League match against Villarreal, Manna revealed that the Italian club is actively working on a contract extension to keep the 29-year-old midfielder long-term.
McTominay's current contract runs until 2028, and Manna highlighted him as arguably Napoli's most important player following their Serie A title win. McTominay recently returned to the starting lineup against Villarreal, where Napoli suffered a 3-1 defeat, following his recovery from heart surgery.
