Marink Reedijk doing ‘wonderful’ Hibs things as Miguel Chaiwa ready for make or break week

Hibernian midfielder Miguel Chaiwa has backed head coach Marink Reedijk, insisting the Dutch manager is doing wonderful things despite a 2-1 defeat to Celtic. Reedijk has managed three matches so far, with Hibs currently sitting at the bottom of the Scottish Premiership table. Chaiwa highlighted the team's growing courage and ball control under the new coach.

Hibs face a crucial period featuring a league clash against St Mirren in Paisley and a Premier Sports Cup semi-final against rivals Hearts at Hampden. While Chaiwa expressed confidence and pointed to improvements on the pitch, writer Michael Gannon notes the team is still struggling for cohesion, questioning Reedijk's late tactical decision to play Grant Hanley as a striker against Celtic.
