Rangers teammates Kevin Kelsy and Minsu Kim faced each other on international duty during a friendly match between South Korea and Venezuela in Ulsan. Footage broadcast on South Korean television showed the two players talking, laughing, embracing, and exchanging shirts at full-time following a 0-0 draw.

Both players started the competitive match for their respective nations before being substituted in the second half. Kim played 67 minutes for South Korea, while Kelsy featured for 69 minutes for Venezuela and received a yellow card.
