Former assistant Michael Beale has lifted the lid on the key motivator used by the pair behind the scenes

Former Rangers assistant and manager Michael Beale has revealed the coaching method he and Steven Gerrard used during their title-winning stint at Ibrox. Beale explained their "you versus yourself" approach, which focuses on managing player energy and focus through personal discussions about their careers, aspirations, and relationships with teammates, following the philosophy of "person, player, team."
Now managing Belgian Pro League team Zulte Waregem, Beale noted he applied the same methods at Queens Park Rangers. He also expressed support for current Rangers manager Derek McInnes following recent victories over rivals Celtic.
