‘It’s the worst thing…’ – Int’l boss sends message to Rangers defender after decision he made

Rangers left-back James Penrice was omitted from the latest Scotland squad chosen by new manager Sebastien Pocognoli. Despite missing out after strong displays in back-to-back Old Firm victories over Celtic under manager Derek McInnes, Pocognoli confirmed that the door remains open for Penrice to earn a call-up in the future.

Penrice joined Rangers on a season-long loan from AEK Athens with an option to buy during the summer transfer window. He earned regular playing time following an injury to Tuur Rommens, but faces stiff national team competition at left-back from Andrew Robertson and Kieran Tierney.
