Lawrence Shankland faced a chorus of boos as the former Hearts skipper returned to Gorgie ahead of Rangers' midweek showdown.
Rangers captain Lawrence Shankland received a chorus of boos from Hearts supporters upon his return to Tynecastle for a midweek Premiership clash. The 31-year-old former Hearts skipper was met with a hostile reception as he made his way to a seat behind the Rangers dugout.
Shankland is currently sidelined with a serious hamstring injury but attended the match in person. The Scotland international joined boyhood club Rangers over the summer after a prolific four-year spell at Hearts, where he scored 88 goals across 171 appearances.
