Rangers star Minsu Kim has been left out of South Korea’s squad for next month’s matches.
Rangers youngster Kim Min-su has been left out of the South Korea squad for upcoming fixtures against Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Caretaker manager Robert Moreno omitted the 20-year-old from his 26-man group despite Kim recently making his senior international debut in a series of friendly matches.
Moreno explained his selection criteria, stressing that squad inclusion is strictly based on performance, physical condition, club playing time, and player commitment over raw talent. Meanwhile, Celtic's Yang also missed out due to a hamstring injury sustained at the Asian Games, though he is expected to return to training next week.
